Geneva Rowland Lovvorn, age 92, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Ofa Barber Rowland. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Coston Clay Lovvorn; son, Charles Lovvorn; daughter, Diane Morgan and two brothers, Joel Rowland Jr. and Curtis Rowland and her grandson, Clay Gatewood. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dewey Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lovvorn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carlos and Lesia Lovvorn of Bell Buckle, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and William Gannon of Crossville, TN and Wanda and George Gatewood of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter-in-law, Vivian Lovvorn of Bell Buckle, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law Ray and Frances Rowland of Vanatta, TN and Roy and Dot Rowland of Cainsville, TN; step-sister and her husband, Jean Marie and Jimmy Patterson;14 grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lovvorn was a member of United Blankenship Methodist Church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made at Alive Hospice or to the United Blankenship Methodist Church Building Fund. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 Noon Saturday until the service at 3:00PM all at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151
