Geneva Sanford Earthman, age 78, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at her home. She was a native of Rutherford County and daughter of the late Nevile and Freddie Mae Stone Sanford. Funeral service will be 11:00am Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Ben Earthman will Officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Earthman is survived by her husband, Ben Earthman, son, Richard Pearson and Terry, daughter, Suzanne Wren and her husband Mark all of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Blake Wren, Ashley Wren, Dan Bruce, Jennifer White, and Lindsay Scruggs and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John D. and Hoyte Sanford, and three sisters, Mora Edmonds, Willie Bickel, and Jessie Orton. Mrs. Earthman attended Kittrell School and was a 1952 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. She was a member of the Gospel Chapel in Nashville. Active pallbearers are Blake Wren, Ben Weatherford, Andy Dement, Andy Englehart, Clarence Edward Fisher, John Sanders, Brian Scruggs, and Dan Bruce. Honorary Pallbearers are Vernon Edmonds, S. W.
