Mrs. Geneva Burns Bledsoe, age 93, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. She was born in Giles County, TN to the late Wood and Florence Noah Burns. Mrs. Bledsoe was a nurse at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro and attended Kingwood Heights Church of Christ.

Mrs. Bledsoe is survived by her children, Donna Spencer and her husband David of Tullahoma, TN, Barbara Vassar and her husband James of Woodbury, TN, and Randy Bledsoe of Murfreesboro; sisters, Gwen Green and Betty Hollingsworth of Lewisburg, TN and Ruth Scribner of Dunlap, IL; grandchildren, Teresa, Cindy, Sharon, Wendi, Kelly, David Lee, Jennifer, and Julie; twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kindred Bledsoe; siblings, Frances Harwell and Edwin Burns; and great-great-grandson, Zachary Myers.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
