Gene Templeton, age 70 of Murfreesboro died Thursday April 12, 2012. He was a native of Bedford County and was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Belle Talley. Mr. Templeton was owner of G & T Electrical and worked for Butler Construction in LaVergne. He is survived by his children; Jeff Templeton and wife Janice of Murfreesboro, Vickie Templeton of Smyrna; sister, Zuella Sutton of Bedford County; grandchildren, Lauren Templeton, Jeff Templeton, Jr, and Stephen Irvin; great-grandchild; Kinlee Templeton. Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
