Gene Howard Graves

Mr. Gene Howard Graves, age 75, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Howard was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 28, 1951 to the late Howard Graves and the late Pearl Graves.

Mr. Graves served in the United States Navy prior to marrying Crystal Belle Moore, and worked in the field of information technology for the Metropolitan Davidson County government, where he worked until his retirement.

Howard loved to travel and to try new restaurants. In fact, he and Crystal would sometimes take trips for the purpose of dining at particular restaurants.

Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, Crystal Moore Graves of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister Karleen Sue Graves; sister, Judy O’Niel; and sister, Peggy (Amy) Graves

Cremation services are being handled by Woodfin Funeral Chapels. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
