Gary F. Bolin, age 67, of Murfreesboro died Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a native of Rutherford County and a son of the late Sidney Frank and Alice Bea Bowen Bolin. Mr. Bolin is survived by his wife Marilyn Bolin; children Chris Bolin of Smyrna, Jessica Bolin of St. Petersburg, FL., Michael Hewell of Columbia, MO, and Kevin Blanton of Antioch; brothers and sisters Faye Bolin of Murfreesboro, Ronnie Bolin and his wife Sandra of Arrington and Connie Hooper and her husband Doug of Murfreesboro; a grandson Samuel Bolin and several other loving family and friends. Mr. Bolin was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from International Paper Co. with over 30 years of service. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Julian Goodpaster officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
