Mr. Garnett Oren Oliver, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018, one day before his 63rd birthday. Mr. Oliver was born in Monticello, FL to the late Garnett O. Oliver, Sr. and Verna Moats Oliver. Throughout the years he worked as a singer/song writer and truck driver for Genesco. Mr. Oliver enjoyed playing guitar and bass. He attended Victory Christian Center.

Mr. Oliver is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy Oliver; three daughters, Charity Prescott, Lynnie Moore, and Charly Karls and her husband Jeff all of Murfreesboro; brother, John Oliver and his wife Teresa; sister, Resa Langel and her husband Roger; and eleven grandchildren, Madeline, Hannah, Arden, Trey, McCade, Dayleigh, Auburn, Mei-Li, Scarlett, Tobi, and J. T.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 3:00pm until 4:00pm at Victory Christian Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at Victory Christian Center on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for balloons to be released after the Celebration of Life.
