WILLIAM PAUL GAMBRELL, SR. age 61 of Smyrna died Friday April 17, 2009. He was a native of Cookeville TN and was preceded in death by his father, Henry Charlene Gambrell. He worked at Cintram in LaVergne. He is survived by his mother, Mary Etta White, and his step-father, Bill White of Smyrna; children, William Paul Gambrell, Jr. Amanda Sweatman, both of Nashville; 3 grandchildren; Steven Gambrell of Kentucky; sisters, Barbara (Carl) Seals of LaVergne, Shirley Morgan of Old Hickory, Joyce Ann (Keith) Bowe of Cookeville; brother, Bobby Joe Gambrell of Cookeville. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Maynard Cemetery in DeKalb County.
