Gail G. Terry, dear wife, beloved mother, cherished gramma, Chose to end her fight with cancer on June 10th and go to her reward in heaven to the arms of our Lord and Savior. Gail was born in Liberty, NY, and grew up as a child in St. Petersburg, FL. Her parents moved to CA where she graduated from Lawndale High School. She worked as a bookkeeper and bank teller for most of her life. She moved from Liberty, NY to Gainesville, FL, where she worked for the University of Florida and met the love of her life. She lived in Naples, FL for 25 years until she relocated to the Nashville area with her husband. She enjoyed, cooking, Sudoku puzzles, Jumble every morning, going on cruises, dancing, an avid bowler, arts & crafts of all kinds though she specialized in painting ceramics, hummingbirds, Its a Wonderful Life, going to their cabin in North Carolina, Florida Gator Fan, Dallas Cowboys Fan, and GO JEFF GORDON! She is survived by her loving husband of 30+ years, constant companion and caretaker Steve, her son Rich Belcher and his wife Sharon, Matt and Leslie of Naples, FL, the apple of her eye grandson Michael Belcher, many relatives, friends, and her three dogs, Honey, Bear, and Grizz. The family gives special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Middle Tennessee Medical Center who gave her wonderful compassionate care. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7:00PM at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00PM until the service time.
