FRENCHIE JONES PRUITT, age 86, of Murfreesboro, Tn. died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Tennessee State Veterans Home. She was born in Weston, Georgia and was the daughter of the late David Ross Jones, Sr. and George Wyatt Sims Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory L. Pruitt who died in 1999, and son, Emory E. Pruitt, who died in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Rillis (Dwight) Hackney of Murfreesboro; sons, Terry (Linda) Pruitt of Rockvale and David (Evelyn) Pruitt of Murfreesboro; brother, G. W. Jones, Sr. of Richland, Georgia; grandchildren, Chris (Kim) Hackney, Tracey (Larry) Howse, Jamie (Julie) Hackney, William (Mindy) Pruitt, Leonard Pruitt, Tammy Pruitt, Ross Pruitt, Brandy Bradbury, And Kaley Grimm; Eleven great grandchildren; special friends, Lillian Rowland, Mary Hixson; Niki Williams and Connie Williams at TSVH. Funeral services 10 am Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. W. D. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation with the family 5-8 pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Frenchie was a devout Christian and a wonderful servant of God.
