Frederick Vincent Hobson, age 88, of Smyrna, TN. died November 16, 2009 at Peachtree Nursing Facility. A native of Leek, Staffordshire, England, he was the son of the late Frederick and Harriett Sigley Hobson. Memorial Services will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna with Brother Ken Polk officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Hobson is survived by his wife Agnes Page Hobson; his son and daughter in law Philip and Teresa Hobson of Murfreesboro; three daughters and sons in law, Pamela and Frank Gabreluk of Federal Way, WA., Linda and Frank Martilotto of Sunrise, FL., and Yvette and John Cordeiro of Pittsboro, N.C.; one sister, Jean Rushton of Ashborne, Derbyshire, England, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy May Wright and one brother, Joe Hobson. Mr. Hobson was a member of the Church of England.
