FREEDIE ALLEN HOBBS age 70 of Readyville, died Wednesday November 9, 2011. A native of Viola, Tennessee, he was preceded by his mother Hollie Hobbs, and Grandparents Tom and Marvin Hobbs. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Tim Mitchell and Bud Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of the Kittrell Volunteer Fire Department. Honorary pallbeaers will be Elders and Deacons of Science Hill Church of Christ and Geroge Curray, Tim Curray, Tracy Curray, Bud Mitchell, Joe Barrett, Bobby Brewer, Alison Warrick, David Adams, Randy Todd, and Lauglin Youree. Mr. Hobbs is survived by his wife of 45 years Lillian Shockley Hobbs, sons Thomas Hobbs of Woodbury, Robert Hobbs of Readyville, and five grandchildren Colby, Courtney, Caitlin, Garrett, and Hollie Hobbs. Mr. Hobbs was part owner of American Fabricators, a member of Science Hill Church of Christ, and volunteered on the Kittrell Fire Department.
