Freda Jean Scott, age 68 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday March 17, 2015. She was native of Murfreesboro, TN, and was preceded in death by her father, Fred Wallace, step-father, Bonnell Maynard, and her husbands, Billy Clyde Pruitt and Jerry Don Scott. Mrs. Scott is survived by her sons, Mike Pruitt, and his wife Amanda, and Jonathan Scott all of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Evelyn Maynard of Smyrna, TN; brother, Dale (Sara) Maynard, of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Bonnie Maynard (Kathy) of Springfield, TN; three grandchildren, Micah and Madlee Pruitt and Noah Scott. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Church of Christ, a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and a retired LPN. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
