FRED ALLEN MANUS age, 78 of Murfreesboro, TN died Tuesday March 30, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Erskine and Lillie Fann Manus and his foster father the late Clark Manus. Mr. Manus is survived by his wife, Beverly Faye Thomas Manus; foster mother, Charlene Manus of Murfreesboro, TN; sons, Kevin T. Manus of Murfreesboro, TN, and Darren E. Manus of Morrison, TN; daughter, Sherrilyn Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Roy Lee Manus of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Annie Faye Gordon of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Manus was preceded in death by a sons, Raymond Allen Manus and Fred A. Manus, and brothers, Erskine Manus, Jr. Frank Lewis Manus, and sisters, Emma Smith and Bertha Mae Barlow. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. J. Morgan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Manus was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired Insurance Agent with Kentucky Central Insurance Co. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
