Fred Willard Basham, age 90 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday April 16, 2013. A native of Cannon County, he was the son of the Roy Adam Basham and Nora Rebecca Parker Basham McCrary. Mr. Basham was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Basham. Mr. Basham is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lois Lewis Basham; daughters and sons in law, Becky and Mitchell Fulks of Murfreesboro, TN, Nancy and Marc Welch of Marietta, GA; granddaughter, JaeLynn Fulks of Savannah, GA; sister, Linda Brown of Lascassas, TN; two step-granddaughters; one step-grandson; nine step- great grandchildren, and seven step- great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Brother Charles Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Basham was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and was retired from the Alvin C.
