Obituary

Franklin Lee Vaughan age 80 of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday January 6, 2015. A native of Davidson County, he was born on January 24, 1934. Franklin was the son of the late St. Elmo and Elise Liggett Vaughan. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Dawson Vaughan and a brother, Robert "Bob" Vaughan. Mr. Vaughan is survived by his wife, Ola Jaco Ross Vaughan, son, Richard Vaughan and his wife Kayce of Rockvale, daughter; Lynne Vaughan of New York, Charles Ross and his wife Rose; Barbara Ross Holton and her husband Thomas; Helen Ross Haynes and her husband George all of Murfreesboro, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Mr. Vaughan was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and was a retired banker. Visitation will be Saturday 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Doug Hutchins and Wendell Hix will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Elders from Kingwood Heights Church of Christ serving as pallbearers.
