Franklin Larocque Forgette, age 73, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011. A native of Plattsburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Leetta Larocque Forgette. A memorial service will be held Friday at 6:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Ben Austin will officiate. A private burial at Evergreen Cemetery will follow at a later date. Mr. Forgette is survived by his four daughters Melissa Forgette, Jeanne Jay Forsythe, Laura David Crist and Lynda Russell Marvel; seven grandchildren Joseph Austin, Whitney Marvel, Daniel Austin, Brittany Forgette, Alex Forsythe, Joshua Forsythe, and Ryan Crist; and one great-grandchild Elijah Gatzimos. Mr. Forgette was a retired Administrator with the Learning Resource Center for 31 years at MTSU. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Middle Tennessee State University Foundation. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00PM to 6:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151.
