Mr. Frankie Lynn Smotherman, Sr., age 57, of Smyrna, TN passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019. He was born in Nashville, TN to Vernon Lee and Nancy Hendrix Smotherman. Mr. Smotherman was a 1980 graduate of Smyrna High School and was a self-employed handyman. He was gruff, rough, and had a heart full of fluff.

Mr. Smotherman is survived by his children, Matthew Stevens of Manchester, TN, Monica Schuster and her husband Freddy of Murfreesboro, TN, Alisha Chapman and her husband Alex of Smyrna, and Frankie Smotherman, Jr. and his wife Lacie of Murfreesboro; parents, Vernon and Nancy Smotherman of Smyrna; long-time companion, Gail Coffer of Smyrna; five grandchildren who he loved very much, Destin, Shyla, Raelynn, Orin, and Everlie; and faithful canine companions, Fancy and Tap.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 12:00noon at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Darrel Whaley will officiate. Burial will take place in Carlton Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
