Frank Wheeler Price, age 81 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Friday November 28, 2014. A native of Ashland, KY, he was the son of the late Frank Theodore and Charlotte Wheeler Price. Mr. Price was also preceded in death by his brother, Lowell Price. Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Dillow Price; sons, Jeffery Price of Smyrna, TN, Curtis Price of Hendersonville, TN, and Gregory Price of Lebanon, TN; daughter, Sally Witner of Murfreesboro, TN; grandsons, Daniel Gowins of Murfreesboro, TN, and Christopher Price of Springfield, TN; great-granddaughters, Hailey and Alexis Gowins of Murfreesboro, TN Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Tony Clemons officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Mr. Price was of the Baptist faith, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a former employee of Piedmont Airlines, and a retired school bus driver.
