FRANK EAKIN age 80 of Murfreesboro, TN died Thursday April 1, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Sam and Marie Wright Eakin. Mr. Eakin is survived by sons and daughters in law, Wendell and Susan Eakin and Eric and Melody Eakin all of Murfreesboro, and two granddaughters, Patty Derington and Sarah Katherine Eakin. Mr. Eakin was married to the late Katherine Waddell Eakin who died in 1992. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Herbert Hester officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Eakin was a member of the Baptist church and was owner and operator of Eakins TV and a former retired employee of Adkins TV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Moose Lodge #645 in memory of Mr. Eakin.
