Francis Vincent " Chip" Nolan, III, age 38 of Smyrna died Monday November 7, 2016 after a short illness. He was a native of Smyrna is survived by his parents, Frank and Jeanne Sullivan Nolan; sister, Christy Parsley; Grandmothers, Marie Sullivan  and Dollie Nolan; nephews; Nolan Adams and Cooper Parsley; niece, Katie Parsley; aunts and uncles; Sharon Brown and husband Joe, Lisa Graves and husband Eric, Gene Nolan and wife Laurie, Rebecca Kahn, Mike Nolan, Joan Lewis and husband Mark, David Nolan and wife Donna, Janie DeLuca, Angela Woodard and husband Ivey, Alice Greene, Amy Herbers.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Paul Sullivan, and Frank Nolan, Sr.; aunts Kay Sullivan and Beth Nolan; uncle, James Herbers.

Chip was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church and was a 1997 Graduate of LaVergne High School. He had worked at Northwest Plumbing Company in Nashville.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke Catholic Church Building Fund or Room in the Inn.

Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM Friday at St. Luke Catholic Church Father Joe McMahon, and Father Jacob Dio will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the Church and  4:00PM to 7:00PM with Rosary at 7:00PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
