Frances McKibbon Yeargan, of the Barfield Community, died Saturday May 29, 2010 at her home. She was a native of Wayne County, Tennessee, and the daughter of the late, Herbert and Adeline Taylor McKibbon. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Debbie Church and Rev. Bob Tuttle will officiate. Burial will be in the Yeargan Cemetery. Ms. Yeargan is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Jacobs of Barfield Community, six grandchildren, Roger E. Smith III of Murfreesboro, Raymond Duncan Smith of Eagleville, Jessica Nicole Smith, Shannon Robinson, Reisha Leigh Watson, and Ronald Lee Jacobs, Jr. all of Murfreesboro, and eleven great-grandchildren. Ms. Yeargan was preceded in death by a brother Herbert McKibbon Jr., two daughters, Jennifer Jo Yeargan and Kay Yeargan Smith, and one son, Ray Yeargan Jr. Ms. Yeargan was a member of Farris Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Salem United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of St. Thomas School of Nursing. She was a former nurse at Rutherford Hospital and retired from the Alvin C. York Medical Center. The family would like to express their appreciation to Ms. Yeargans care givers, Patricia Jacobs, Mandy Victory, Brandy Batey, and Lynne Murray. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
