Frances J. Whitfield, age 73 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. A native of Pembroke, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Herbert and Sarah Katherine Moss Warf. Mrs. Whitfield was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur David Warf.

Mrs. Whitfield is survived by her husband, Hal Douglas Wagner of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Winona Atkin of Smyrna, TN; son, Darrell Clark of Winchester, TN; brother, Robert Warf of Hickman County, TN; grandchildren, Amanda Amick Nelson of Pulaski, TN, Jeffery Clark of Winchester, TN, and Candace Clark Stinson of Scottsville, KY; several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Wesley Thomas officiating. Graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM in the Warf Cemetery in Primm Springs, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Whitfield was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Cracker Barrel.
