Frances Uselton Segroves, age 86 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Bedford County and the daughter of the late Burl A. and Hattie Lee Reed Uselton. She was also preceded in death by brothers Herbert, Fred, Ashley and William Uselton. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Connell "Pete" Segroves; children, Roger Segroves and Becky Clark and her husband Larry all of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, David Clark and his wife Stephanie and Lori Stacy and her husband Jason all of Franklin; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Natalie, Benjamin and Jacob; two brothers, Johnny and Paul Uselton both of Shelbyville and the many children she cared for through the years at her daycare. She was a faithful member of New Heights Chapel and she cared for many children in her home daycare, Segroves In-Home Childcare. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Friday at Evergreen Cemetery with Ben Earthman officiating.
