Frances M. Flowers Sallee, age 74, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. A native of Jamestown, TN, Mrs. Sallee was preceded in death by her parents, Waldon Flowers and Epsie Richardson Flowers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Bill Sallee, her sister, Lula Flowers; and three brothers, Frank, Ernest Shorty and Herbert Flowers. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00AM at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Bobby Franklin and Brother Todd Craig will officiate. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery in Sparta, TN. Mrs. Sallee is survived by her son, Jimmy Roberts and wife Connie of Jamestown, TN; daughter, Patricia Pat Roberts of Murfreesboro; step-sons, Johnny Sallee and wife Patty of West Point, VA and Gary Hutchinson and wife Connie of Murfreesboro; step-daughter, Holly Hutchinson of Murfreesboro; grandson, John Tyler Roberts of Murfreesboro; several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews along with many loving friends. Mrs. Sallee was a member of Scenic Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and was a former part-owner of Front Street Hair Salon. She enjoyed traveling, dancing and cooking. Mrs. Sallee loved to entertain her friends and was always the life of a party. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
