Frances Kay Rains Edmonds , age 79 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Monday November 6, 2017. A native of Benton, IL, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Maye Sneed Rains. Mrs. Edmonds was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Billy Dean Edmonds who died in 2015.

Mrs. Edmonds is survived by her son, Eric Edmonds, and his wife Lisa of Murfreesboro, TN; daughters, Dena Chapman, and her husband Bob of Dahlonega, GA, Kara Alford, and her husband Bill of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brother Richard Rains, and his wife Jackie of Acworth, GA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Gloria House of West Frankfort, IL; six grandchildren; and three nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ken Polk, and Ray Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Edmonds was a member of Northside Baptist Church and a retired Office Manager for her late husband's State Farm agency.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in memory of Mrs. Edmonds.
