Mrs. Frances Olivia Ormes, age 86, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Friday, August 9, 2019. She was born in Tuscon, AZ to the late Frank G. Varela, Sr. and Nellie Figueroa Varela. Mrs. Ormes was a telephone operator for Bell South and was of the Catholic faith. She loved being around people. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Ormes is survived by her children, Diana Scott and her husband Christopher of Holland, OH, Jim Ormes and his wife Susan of Murfreesboro, and Theresa Ormes of Murfreesboro; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Frank G. Varela, Jr. of California; sister, Mary Delgadillo of California; nephew and god-son, Ernie Delgadillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Ormes; a son, Tommy Ormes; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Ormes.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
