Frances Mae Odom, age 94, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 11, 2017. A native of Ruleville, MS, she was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett George and Royce Christine Gibson Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Welch who died in 1965 and husband Eugene Odom who died in 2010.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Robert Mullins will officiate. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.

Mrs. Odom is survived by her children, Bettye Boyd and Perry Welch and his wife Nancy; grandchildren, Marshall Boyd and his wife Hillary, Michelle Watson and her husband Jeremy, Morgan Welch and Melissa Welch; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Boston Boyd and Owen, Harper, Hattie and Griffin Watson; and brother, Marion Davis and his wife Charlotte.

Mrs. Odom was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Marshall Boyd, Perry Welch, Marion Davis, Denny Young, Jeremy Watson and Brad Ruth will serve as pallbearers. Bill Lee, Robert Patterson, Willie Winfree and Kenneth Odom will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Odom can be made to the Smyrna Church of Christ or to the Smyrna Lions Club.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
