Frances Vaughan Campbell, age 92 died March 18, 2014. Mrs. Campbell was a native of Rockvale and the daughter of the late Jimmie Joe and Ethel Newman Vaughan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Floyd C. Campbell, daughter, Patsy Campbell Oliver, grandson, Jeff Oliver, sisters, Allie Carter, Louise Wade, brothers, Eugene, Joe Frank "Doby" and Curtis Vaughan. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her brother, Charlie Vaughan and his wife Joyce, grandson, Jay Oliver and his wife Clara, two granddaughters, Shelly Bowers and Courtney Baker, great granddaughters, Maggie and Mollie Oliver, son-in-law, John R. Oliver and his wife Kitty, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Campbell was a member of South End United Methodist Church in Nashville. She was the retired resident manager of McMurray Apartments in Nashville. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Rev. Ann Cover will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
