Frances "Fran" Hudson Johnson Arnold, age 88, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1, 2019. A native of Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Mattie Alford Hudson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 41 years, Ben Johnson; brother, M.L. Hudson; sister, Ludie Kirschke; and her second husband, Robert Arnold of 21 years.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Jeff Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Wards Grove Cemetery.

She is survived by her three sons, Ben Johnson and his wife Linda, Stanley Johnson and his wife Glenda, and Scott Johnson; two grandsons, Geoff Johnson and Greg Johnson; three granddaughters, Jaclyn, Lauren and Suzi; twelve great grandchildren; three step-daughters, Kathlene Haynes and her husband Bill, Anne Robertson and her husband Jim, Jacqueline Stover and her husband Steve; and seven step grandchildren.

Mrs. Frances was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ. She was a retired Library Clerk with MTSU.

David Hudson, Melvin Floyd, Sterling Harrell, Doug Hutchins, Freelin Tolbert, Windell Hix, Matthew Gerdes, Troy Grove, Mack Allen Finley, and Bobby Francis will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Frances can be made to Kingwood Heights Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
