Florence Catlett, age 74 of Murfreesboro died surrounded by her family on Friday after a courageous 30 year battle with MS. She was a native of Danville, Kentucky and the wife of the late Eugene Catlett, who was her constant companion and tireless caregiver during their 54 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John Will and Edna Litton Newby; a sister, Norma Newby Yankey: and a brother, John Michael Newby.

Survivors include her daughters, Kellie Harris and husband Bobby of Scottsville, KY, and Kalyn Catlett of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kaleb and Kallie Harris of Scottsville, KY; a brother, Robert Newby and wife Ellie of Danville, KY; a brother in law, Rastus Yankey of Danville, KY; devoted friends, Linda Bradshaw and Rita Klika; and a host of loving family and friends.

Private graveside services were held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.
