Florence Alma Brothers, age 90 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Smyrna Care Center. She was a native of Wilson County and was a daughter of the late Rusal Ward and Bessie McPeak Ward. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Granville Donald Brothers and a daughter in law, Teresa Diane Brothers.

Survivors include her children, Charlotte Ann Taylor of Scottsboro, Alabama and Robert Donald Brothers of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Patrick Brothers, Brandy Long, Nacoma Long, Robert Chadwell Brothers, Joshua Donald Brothers, Justin Dewayne Brothers; thirteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Brothers attended the Leanna Church of Christ and worked in quality control at the Lane Cedar Mill.

Visitation will be 11:00am until 1:00pm Friday, July 21, 2023 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm Friday in the Brothers Cemetery with Kevin Dye officiating. An online guestbook is available for the Brothers family at www.woodfinchapel.com.
