Fletcher Robinson Burdine, Sr., died Sunday, February 1, 2015. Mr. Burdine was born September 6, 1941, to Mary Elizabeth Poe Burdine and Dr. Ira Price Burdine in Amory, MS. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Chris Keys. Mr. Burdine is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deborah Cook Burdine; brother, Dr. Price Burdine of TX; sister, Elizabeth Hyde and husband Andy of Memphis, TN; longtime friend, Charles Caldwell of Amory, MS; daughter, Elizabeth Burdine McCurry of N.C.; son, Rob Burdine of TN; granddaughter, Emily Erin Keys Edwards of Signal Mt., TN; grandson, Scott McElroy of AL; and a host of nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.
