Faye Smotherman Handley, age 77, of Murfreesboro passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Clarence K. and Temple Williams Smotherman. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Handley and sisters, Sissy Carr, Ruby Lorance and Maudene Todd. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Marshall Gupton will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Handley is survived by her husband, Tony Handley, daughter, LeAnn (James R.) Linkous of Murfreesboro, brother, Tommy (Adeline) Smotherman of Smyrna, grandchildren, Matthew (Heather) Handley, Brooke (Jamie) Robinson and Angela Faye (Clay) Thompson, great grandchildren, Keaton Robinson and Bella Handley. Mrs. Handley was a graduate of Christiana High School and a homemaker. Visitation will be from 12noon until 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 615-893-5151.
