Fannie Ruth Fletcher, age 81 of Manchester, Tennessee died on Sunday, July 3, 2011, surrounded by her family. Born Wednesday, July 10, 1929 in Gassaway, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Edd and Martha Mahaffa Murphy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Elmer Fletcher, sons, Glenn Lee Fletcher and Elmer Junior Fletcher, and grandson, Gary Wayne Fletcher, and twin brothers, Floyd and Lloyd Murphy. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with the Bro. Kenneth Hale officiating. Interment will be in Gnat Hill Cemetery, Coffee County, TN. She is survived by her son, Randy Fletcher of Christiana, TN, daughters, Joanne Fletcher of Antioch, TN, Judy Allen of Christiana, TN, Dale Davis of Christiana, TN, Joyce Hercules of Winchester, TN, Jean Horton of Manchester, TN and Wanda Sue Barlow of Manchester, TN, 27 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was a member of Gethsemane House of Prayer and a homemaker.
