F. RICHARD DICK HAWK, was born June 19, 1932 in Marion County and died July 16, 2010 at MTMC. He was the son of the late Russ and Rosella Tate Hawk of South Pittsburgh, TN. Mr. Hawk is survived by his wife, Caroline Hoover Hawk; sons, David Russell Hawk and John Richard Hawk; and grandchildren, Margaret Elizabeth Hawk, Austin David Hawk and Morgan Lee Hawk, all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Hawk was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served near the 38th parallel in the Medical Service Corp. of the 8th Army, attached to the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell. Mr. Hawk was a graduate of MTSU and the Nashville School of Law. He served as Claims Superintendent at State Farm before joining MTSU as student counselor and Business Law Teacher. He was also associated with the late Bill Wright and others in the practice of law. Visitation will be from noon until 2:30PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. prior to funeral services at 2:30 PM at the chapel. Dr. Craig Martindale will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pat Brumfield, Robert Beamon, Bill Cobb, Bob Covington, Mark Dotson, Robert Hayes, Terry Hoover, Thomas Hoover, Donnie Johnson, Michael Johnson, Mike Maddox, Gene Money, Tom Todd, Tom White, Buddy Woodson and J.O.
