EVERETT CHARLES NEUMAN, age 89, of Smyrna, Tennessee died May 1, 2009 at Peachtree Nursing Center. He was born in Beatrice, Nebraska and was the son of the late Charles & Hester Neuman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nettie Edmondson Neuman who died in 1969 and his second wife, Willie Louise Heath Barrett Neuman who died in 2006. He is survived by his sister, Charlotte (Terrance) Moore; his nieces, Karen (Dallas) Denton and Kimerly (Ken) Recker all of Nebraska; family friend, Blanche Pearson of Smyrna, Tn. Funeral services 2 pm Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Marshall Gupton officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 pm Monday. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park in Beatrice, Nebraska. Mr. Neuman was a member of the Smyrna First United Methodist Church where he retired as Custodian.
