Evelyn Christine Williams, age 80 of Murfreesboro died Sunday June 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late, Ernest and Beulah Christine Smotherman Bryant. Mrs. Williams was member of Rockvale Church of Christ and was retired payroll and accounting with International Paper Company. She loved her flowers and working in her yard.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 65years, Charles E. Williams of Murfreesboro; children; Kathy Davis and husband Carl of Midland, Mary Ann Ryan and husband Mike of Rockvale; grandchildren, Kimberly Wilkinson and husband Chris of Christiana, Jason Davis of Murfreesboro, Phillip Ryan and Stephen Ryan of Midland; great-grandchildren Carly Ashford and husband Allen, Eli and Dylan Wilkinson; great-great-granddaughter; Annabella Grace Ashford; sister, Faye Romans and husband Willard of Midland; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11AM Wednesday at Rockvale Church of Christ with Brother Bob Vick, Brother Don Mangrum and Brother Shane Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Smotherman Cemetery in Midland. Pallbearers will be Stephen Ryan, Phillip Ryan, Jason Davis, Billy King, Derek Romans, and Erek Romans.
