Evelyn Parton Vick, age 84 of LaVergne passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016. She was born in DeKalb County to the late Hall and Willie Florence Hill Parton and lived in Nashville most of her life. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Dawes Truitt and Mike Vick, daughter, Vickie Elaine Truitt and son, Lee Truitt, brothers, Sterling, Ralph and Roscoe Parton.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. Johnny Minick will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Diann Horner (Lonnie) of Murfreesboro, Cindy Dobbins (Steve) of Orlando, FL, Renee Faulk (Earl) of Olympia, WA, sister, Marie Waggoner of Murfreesboro, brother, Frank Parton of Smithville, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Ms. Vick was a member of River of Life Church in Smyrna and retired from Guest Services at Baptist Hospital.
