Evelyn Carter Lee, age 94, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 18, 2017. A native of Smyrna, she was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Mattie Coleman Carter; and her husband, Harold Caldwell Lee who died in 2002.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Rev. Barry Culbertson, Rob Dunbar, and Ralph Neal will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her children, Sue Harris, Ray Lee and his wife Peggy, David Lee and his wife Lynne, Wayne Lee and his wife Linda, and Lynn Lee all of Smyrna; sister, Rachel Sanford of Henning, TN; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Lee was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church. She was a 1940 graduate of Smyrna High School.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna.
