Evelyn Lorena Lunday Jackson, passed into her heavenly home on Thursday, January 27, 2022, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by son, Charles D. Jackson Jr and his wife Cathy; daughter, Kathy Jackson; grandsons, Charles Jackson, Brian Jackson, Ryan Jackson; two granddaughters, Kelly Stitt and Kathryn Jackson; five great grandchildren; sisters, Martha E. Rodgers, Margie Hesson, Patricia Watson, sister/niece Jackie Hall Wornell; and special friend Bobby Richardson;

She did mission work in Venezuela and Brazil with a medical unit several times.

She also loved going to Europe and traveling around other parts of the world.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Jackson; son, Thomas L. Jackson; parents, Thomas and Evelyn Lunday; and sister, Bobbie J. Hall.

Visitation, service, and burial will be Friday, February 4 ^th , 2022, at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Visitation is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Rosemary Brown will officiate. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Nashville National Cemetery in Madison, TN.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
