MR. EVANS ABNEY KELLY, age 74, of Murfreesboro died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was a native of Scottsboro, Ala. and the son of the late Evans A. & Mable Davis Kelly. He is survived by his daughter, Erin K. Hankins and her husband Roger of Red Bank, Tn.; son, Stephen Kelly and his wife, Angela of Mulvane Kansas; grandchild, Jessica Kelly; step grand child, Alex Hatheway; sisters, Dorothy Pullias of Murfreesboro, Betty J. Williamson, Scottsboro, Ala. and Nancy Salingo of Arizona. Visitation with the family will be from noon until 2 pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Kelly was a Christian, and a retired employee of Gulf Oil Company. Mr. Kelly attended David Lipscomb University and was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Hunter Kelly who died in 2007 and his sister, Barbara Alley of Scottsboro, Ala.
