Eva Lucille Ring, age 97 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Thursday Dec. 26, 2013. A native of Mentor, TN, she was the daughter of the late Author Omnis and Mary Pearl Garrett Ring. Miss Ring was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Patton Ring and by her sisters, Floy R. Hague, Nina Ruth Ring, and Ethel P. Callaway. Miss Ring is survived by nieces and nephews; Frank Callaway of Smyrna, TN, Mary Varallo of Madison, TN, Betty King of Auburntown, TN, Lynn Hague of St. Louis, MO, Ralph Ring of Joliet, IL, Carolyn Bradley of Delaware, and Patsy Kay Boulie of Nashville, TN Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Springhill Cemetery in Madison, TN with Frank Callaway officiating. Miss Ring was a member of East Main Church of Christ. She received her Masters Degree from George Peabody College, and was a retired High School Librarian.
