EVA MAE PARTON age 73 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday September 30,2012. A native of Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Mary Jane Gregory Clendening. She is preceded in death by her Husband Roscoe Parton, and a Sister Hazel Irwin. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna, with Reverend Billy Shoulders officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Ms. Parton is survived by her son Paul Kevin Parton, Granddaughter Kristen M. Parton both of Murfreesboro, Brother Raymond (Wanda) Clendening of Madison, Sisters Ann (Mike) Volovik of Pittsburgh, PA., Bertha Imogene (William) Shannon of Garden City,MI.
