Ethel Margarite Martin, age 92 of Smyrna died Friday November 18, 2016. She was a native of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Major USAF, Russell Martin and a son, Russell Martin, Jr; her parents, Ivan and Alice Thompson; sister, Carolyn Nicholson. Mrs. Martin was a member of Smyrna First Methodist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son, William Martin of Smyrna; grandchildren, Jeff Martin of Smyrna, Christina Jowers and husband Robert of LaVergne; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Andrew Martin, Ella and Julia Jowers.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 12:00 Noon Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
