Mrs. Mary "Esther" Gilliand, age 82, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was born in Convington, TN to the late William and Blanch Dobbs Bridges. Mrs. Gilliand was a faithful and invovled member of Northside Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress and later as a cafeteria worker in the public schools.

Mrs. Gilliand is survived by her children, Pam DePeder and her husband Michael of Orland Park, IL, Karen Camacho of Valparaiso, IL, Brian Gilliand and his wife Linda of Valparaiso, IN, and Kimberly Schneider and her husband J.T. of Mocksville, NC; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Rachel Brumett; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gilliand, and eight siblings.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 1, 2019 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 3:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor David Bramble will officiate. Burial will take place Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:00am in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
