ESSIE LAVELLE WARREN, age 87, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, January 31, 2009. She was a native of Roanoke, VA, and the daughter of the late Emmett and Roxie Mountcastle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. Warren in 2001. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Gary Dodd officiating. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her son, Ray A. Warren of Hermiston, OR, grandsons: Scott and Kevin Hansen of Murfreesboro.
