Essie Jackson Shelton, 89, Antioch TN, January 2, 2016 - Born March 19, 1926 and raised in Sherwood, TN by her beloved parents Marion and Claudia Jackson. Moved to Chattanooga with her first husband, John Pack (deceased 1951) by whom she had two sons, Johnny (deceased), and Don Pack (Gayle) of Antioch, grandsons Jason Pack of Antioch, Donald Pack (Jennifer) of Florida, and great grandson Noah Pack of Florida. At her request, there was no funeral or visitation. Burial with her second husband Oliver Helms (deceased 1966) was private at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
