Mr. Erwin Alton Cole, age 72, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Cole was a son of the late Charles Monroe, Jr. and Ruth Bailey Cole. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Monroe Cole. He was a 1965 graduate of MTSU with a B.S. in accounting and was an avid bass fisherman. Mr. Cole was the owner of Erwin Cole Enterprises and A Space Mini Storage in Murfreesboro. Mr. Cole is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha Cole; two children, Charles Cole and Carrie Groce and her husband Chris all of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren, Olivia and Garrison Groce; and one sister, Marcia Burney and her husband Jim of South Harpswell, Maine. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00am at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro.
