Ernestine "Tootie" Bonner Slade Davis, age 86 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday December 29, 2015. She was born in Camden, AL and was the daughter of the late, James Bennett and Ernestine Bonner Slade. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Haywood Davis and her husband, O.H. Davis. Tootie was a member of New Heights Chapel and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Bennett Davis and wife Sherrie of Lebanon, Carl Davis and wife Gail of Easley SC, Jim Davis and wife Laurie of Nashville; and a daughter, Carolyn Gleason and husband David of Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial may be made in memory of Mrs. Davis to New Heights Chapel, 2650 St. Andrews Dr. Murfreesboro, TN 37128.

Visitation will be 12 Noon until 2:00PM Saturday. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Steve Decker and Bro. Ben Earthman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.
